Welcome to the official website of Youth Owned Records, one of the first youth run record labels in the country. Founded in 1999 by Ann Arbor area teens with the leadership of Neutral Zone Staff, Youth Owned Records aims to provide high school aged youth the opportunity to record, promote, distribute CDs, and perform their original compositions, and to facilitate the learning of skills associated with a career in the music industry.
Here you can find information about Youth Owned Records’ general operations and programs, as well as music, releases, and other media from our youth artists.
